Sarpagandha Ghana Vati is a classical preparation with Rauvolfia serpentina root, combined with Trachyspermum ammi (Khurasani Yavani), Nardostachys jatamansi (Jatamansi), Cannabis sativa (Vijaya), and Pippalimula (Piper longum root). It is traditionally indicated in Ayurveda for maintaining healthy blood pressure, calming anxiety, and supporting restful sleep. The formulation is known for its central nervous system–soothing (nervine-sedative) and hypotensive actions, along with mild carminative support.
